Office consolidation

On Monday, Sept. 22nd, the three office spaces used by the Assessor's office consolidated into two rooms.  Room 309 on the third level of the county administration building was vacated and employes were split between Rooms 211 and 302.  For personal property, commercial and appeal matters, taxpayers need to visit the office in Room 302.  For sales disclosures and any other real estate matters, taxpayers need to visit the office in Room 211.  All of our contact information and hours of operation remain the same.

Appeals deadline - September 15th

The appeals window is quickly drawing to a close.  Since the cutoff date (September 14th) falls on a Sunday, we will be accepting appeals through September 15th.  In order to meet this deadline, you must appeal by the end of business (4:30 pm) on September 15th.  All appeals sent to our office by mail must be postmarked by the US Postal Service on or before September 15th.

Appeals deadline right around the corner

The appeals deadline is right around the corner on September 14th, 45 days after the July 31st mailing of Notices of Assessment.  Our office has been working efficiently to help taxpayers file appeals and settle them as quickly as possible with a significant portion already completed.  Appeals can be filed simply by mailing a letter or Form 130 to our office, showing up in person to fill out a form or by filing through our simple online process.  Our hours of business are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
