Porter County Assessor Jon Snyder announced on February 28, 2012 the completion of the 2012 general property assessment. The assessor's office met the project's March 1st deadline early making the 16 month process of inspecting more than 80,000 real estate parcels countywide a huge success.

“On-time tax billing is a win for local government and for taxpayers,” Snyder said. “It is my top priority.”
